Budget
Supply
money in the Title 1 budget is going to be spent on leveled readers
for each grade level.
Parent
Involvement Activities
Pride Store had
a lot of volunteers. Tutoring- may use extra time support has to
tutor students in Tier II.
April
FAN
was
cancelled due to the weather but the May one is the talent show at
Mead with the 5th grades performing. We will have Kdg.
round-up on May 11 city wide and we hope that you spread the word.
Conferences- Two half days in May (18th and 19th)
there will be conferences to help with transitions for students
next year.
Staff
Development Activities-
The morning
session of the April in-service was at Anderson. We started with a
My Learning Plan update Followed by an Ed Trust Dialogue, Team
Building Activity, rewrote words on the floor tiles, technology:
Smartboard activities. The afternoon was spent with staff going to
various sites across the district. Classroom teachers went to learn
about the new reading series: Treasures.

Involvement/events

BOND
celebration update
2:00 on May 21
will be an Arts Partners Presentation/ 2:30 will be the bond
celebration and thank you to the community/ 3:00 Penny’s Retirement
