Latchkey

  What is Latchkey?

Latchkey is a before and after school program. The program is supervised by certified teachers. We offer activities such as crafts, many self selected game activities, and physical activity.  We also offer time and extra help for homework.  A snack is provided for all students in the afternoon.

Cost  

The fees for latchkey depend largely on the amount of time a students spends with us in latchkey. We do offer reduced fees for those that qualify for free or reduced lunches. The fees are as follows:

An example: a student who qualifies for free/reduced lunched that attends 5 days a week for 2 hrs each day would pay $20.00 per week.  We also except SRS vision payments with proper SRS approval.

     Hours of operation  

We open at 6:00am Monday thru Friday and we close at 6:00pm Monday thru Friday. 
We dismiss kids to their classrooms in the mornings and they check in to us after school.

   How do I sign up?  

To sign up for latchkey you need to pick up an enrollment packet from the office.
As soon as the packet is returned and completely filled out with all forms signed you can begin using Anderson Latchkey.
 

Where does the money go?    

Profits received from latchkey go back into Anderson Elementary. Our latchkey has purchased items that not only benefit our latchkey students but can be utilized by the entire school.
