We’re having a great
beginning of the new school year. This is my first year to do the special
classes on Thursday, and I’ve enjoyed the extra time with my students,
working on instruments, our recent performance with the young classes, folk
dances, and patriotic music.
Mrs. Rohde and I were so
thrilled with the performance that our Kindergarten, First and Second Grade
Students gave on the Curriculum Night. And a big thanks to my wife, Judie,
for making over a hundred platters for the Second Grade production of “Seussical.”
Our next public performance
will be during the day on November 7, as the entire student body will sing
patriotic American songs and many of Mr. Ranney’s art students will display
Peace Flags and Pinwheels. We’ll be having our all-school Holiday Sing
again in December. Watch for details on both of these exciting assemblies
featuring each and every one of our Anderson musical All-Stars!
If you have any interest in
knowing what I do outside of school and what I think about a variety of
things, check out my personal blog at

I leave laying out for anyone to pick up and read. |
